What is the general concensus with regards to the GTS vs Turbo, would you say it is daft buying a 2008/2009 GTS when the same model year Turbo's only seem to be 3-4k more? and the Turbo's seem to have all of the options as standard...?

Unless for motorway miles or badge, GTS is better package imo

I must admit, I am edging towards the GTS but there are not as many for sale when compared to the turbo

The GTS is the better driver's car; not as fast, but the naturally aspirated engine and sports exhaust make for a very engaging drive. Important to find a car with PDCC - makes the car handle extraordinarily well.

The Turbo is insanely fast and from a VFM perspective is the better buy second hand.
Finally, looks - I think the GTS bodykit works very well on the car.

(I had to make the same choice - went for the GTS.)

Cheers

good question and one that I know i'm going to face when i upgrade my cooking 'S' at some point

the styling of the GTS appeals as does the noise

but then the turbo looks great too and that huge slug punch from the blower is appealing

I can't imagine that the MPG is much different

it's a very tough choice IMO

Love my turbo. GTS to me, is ridiculous, trying to be a sports 4x4.
