Just viewed a cayenne, thinking it might be an import. On the option sticker in service book it doesn't have c16 on it, or any number starting with a cxx. Also paint code comes up as a VAG black magic pearl, is thus the same as metallic black?

Can anyone with a cayenne please check to see if the build code appears as the first entry on the sticker, my 996 has it as the first entry in the options section of the sticker (bottom).

Thx.

What is the paint code? L998 is paint to spec & L999 is special colour to match.

LC9Z is the paint code, also I can't get any of the codes to match to what's on the car? Pretty sure it was basalt metallic black.

I'm referencing the options against the cayenne brochure but non match?

I took a photo of the sticker from the service book, but no supplying dealer stamp was in the space.

Will post a pic later and remove the VIN.

This is the sticker that's in the maintenance record but I can't see any country code on it, do I need to get down specsavers?

Any help working out the codes would be great.

C9Z or LC9Z is Basalt Black in Porsche codes. VW obviously use the same paint code.

Thanks for the info, does the cayenne not follow the regular format for option codes?

Will have a look round online to find a decoder as the brochure hasn't shed much light.

Thanks for the offer Richard but I found a decoder on the web, the car I looked at had lots of options on it but weren't spec'd on the build sticker.

I guess it's because most were std fit on a turbo model.

Car hasn't had the pipes replaced and its a trader so depends what kind of deal can be done as to if I take it any further.

Have just viewed another car as the hunt is on, it seems to have lots of options that aren't listed on the build sticker, has the aero kit (55 plate) but no mention of it?

I've decoded all the options on the build sticker except:
X7F
HD9
QG0
EOA
OJZ
OYZ

can anyone fill in these blanks for me.

Thx
