Is there a proper reason, rather than "Porsche will void your warranty" why you cannot mix N ratings on a car? I currently have N1 all round, the fronts have plenty of life but the rears need to be replaced and I don't believe Michelin make N1 anymore.

as long as you have same tyres on same axle you should be fine. I.e keep, your n1's on the front and n3's or whatever rating on the rear will be fine as long as the pair are the same.

As above - my PS2s are N4 on the front and N2 on the back.

Thank you, is the N rating just a warranty point then? I have seen other ZR rated tyres without the N available

The n rating means the tyres have been approved by Porsche for use, it doesn't mean you have to use them that's for you to decide really, can't vouch for whether they will invalidate the warranty but I would check with your OPC or warranty T&C's if you are concerned.
