Performance Friction pads and wear sensors
Discussion
Thanks. Problem I have now is that they're squealing like crazy - don't think I can tolerate them they're that bad. Haven't had a chance to do any really heavy stops with them yet - but does anyone know if they will shut up?! The fitting garage (Deutsch Tech in Wolverton, who are PF dealers) rang PF who suggested greasing the back of the pads - but this made no difference.

No opportunity to bed them in yet - have to try over the weekend.
Nothing plugged in to the sensor sockets at the moment but there's no light.
These are a competion brake pad and need to be properly heat cycled. They may be glazed over now if not bedded in correctly. Nothing plugged in to the sensor sockets at the moment but there's no light.
You will always get more noise/vibration from race engineered products as they are designed to work in much higher temperatures and stressful environment.

I'd fit pagids to my CaymanS for trackdays, squealed like a well rodgered pig on the drive down to the track, on track brilliant, squealed on the drive home again. The light braking normally done on the road just wasn't their cup of tea.
Seems like it's the price you pay for better high performance braking.
