New 991. Noticed humidity in both headlights this evening, after taking it to the car wash earlier this morning (don't know if the two are related). This a common problem?

Don't know about the 991 specifically but this is an issue with most new cars.

Normal.

Classic story is drive with lights on - stop and wash car - lights cool and vacuum draws in moisture through vents - lights on again and moisture vapourises and condenses on cold front lens. Will clear of its own accord.
Remedy - leave lights on in car wash

Assumed he meant a hand car wash, I wash my own because I enjoy it but not everyone does, I'm sure he hadn't put it through a machine wash, that would be hand the keys back time.

Hand car wash??? You mean professionally detailed right??? You don't mean one of those backstreet places that use chemical concrete cleaner and dirty sponges... Shirley???

Never noticed on mine. But had noticed on another 991s I test drove, the back lights had misted up in wettish weather. Didnt think that was normal ?!?
