Speed yellow 996- Love or hate?

I love it, but would it be better as an onlooker or an owner? I can imagine it would get pretty tiresome with the banana man jokes & people taking the piss, but it looks stunning against the backdrop of grey, silver & black cars... I had myself convinced a black one was where it was at, but wow what a colour! Has anyone on here owned a 996 in a daring shade?
Great looking spec as well, x50 and low miles, must resist....

This car was for sale privately for about two days before it was snapped up by JZM. It looks absolutely epic in yellow and makes such a nice change from Lapis blue and arctic silver. My first colour choice is always speed yellow but because hardly anyone spec's them, they can be very hard to find. Years ago people said stay away from the yellows and reds but now people will pay a slight premium for them due to the lack of choice on offer.
It looks absolutely stunning on the road. If I'm in another car with my dads SY car following, I can't help but smile, it does look great to the onlooker.

However, if it will be your daily drive, being taken to work and parked on the street, it may be a little overboard. All depends on what you're using the car for. If you've got garage access at your workplace I wouldn't hesitate to take the SY car, and if it's a weekend car, well there's no need to ask!
