Mine fits with probably 15-20cm spare either side at the door. I'll measure the narrowest part for you and let you know

She gets parked in there every night, getting in and out without touching the door to the wall can be quite a gymnastic feat!
How do you get out of that after parking???

Do you have a sunroof?

Regardng insurance, the specialist insurers in my experience require the car to be garaged every night whereas if you go direct to an insurance company, Aviva, in my case, there is little difference in cost whether it's parked on the street or in a garage. I live in BA2, south Bath, so it may depend on area.
Thanks for all the advice so far, I am intending to do the carpet on the walls thing. Also intending on a New Year's diet to aid with getting out of the car! First got to get a skip to dump all the junk that currently lives in the garage
Thanks for the recommendation for Jonathan at Pace Ward, had had a similar recommendation from the dealer broking the car, hopefully he will quote me happy as it has had some mods.

And a cotton bobbin or similar hanging from ceiling located so as to touch the windscreen when youre as far in as you need to go.
You can do something similar (for the side glass) to guide your near side in, if its tight and dark and you need to fold in your passenger door mirror, too.

pinp pong balls work well, too and dont have the weight so you can tape them from the ceiling, You can do something similar (for the side glass) to guide your near side in, if its tight and dark and you need to fold in your passenger door mirror, too.
