Nothing serious but very strange.
First wash and after drying the car I noticed that the wing mirror glass was still filthy. Cleaned them again using Invisible Glass cleaner and a microfibre cloth and they wouldnt clean. Ran my finger nail down them and the dirt/marks is inside the glass. WTF?
So, after a visit to the dealer they are replacing the glass on Saturday morning.
Weirdest thing I've ever seen.
Same cleaning method Ive always used and use on my other cars (4 buckets, 2 rinse, 2 soap, hose (no jetwash) Megs shampoo and 2-3 microfibre waffle drying towels). Never had any problems of this nature before.

Just a thought - Did you inadvertantly tick the option for revolving mirrors that can be reversed when the first glass becomes dirty. It comes as part of the spider removal option which includes an electric shock pack. It is good to know that Porsche consider those who live in the countryside although £1500 is a bit steep for those on an agricultural wage!

Dont be quick to judge TVR's. I've had more trouble with my 997 than any of the TVR's I've ever had.
All tongue in cheek of course! Having never owned a TVR I am not qualified to comment on their reliability. Loved the look of them but couldn't get over the fact they smelled of GRP! Certainly looked cool though and sounded great. Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
