GC Motors you say....
I always go on about checking cars carefully, and this would be no exception.

This.
As I've said previously, if you want to see comedians, book yourself a ticket to one of the better known acts, Russell Howard, Frankie Boyle etc, they're far better value for money . . . .

26k miles and its no longer fitted with its ceramic discs? Hmmm the GC motor car looks to be good value

Sounds like it's had a hard life. Also, wheels become heavily pitted with hard use, so a good ol' refurb in a tarty colour helps disguise any visual clues.
I suspect its a bit of a hound.

Good on track. Get it checked out properly though as thats way cheaper than most other GT2s. There's an accident damaged one for similar money at another dealer hence geuss there may be a story
What car is that?Just to answer the original post, they are pretty awesome on the track - pretty much the quickest Porsche around the Nurburgring bar none!
I bought one myself a month or two ago and love it. Catching the boost mid corner can be interesting, but other than that, an amazing car. Before I bought mine, I went and test drove the silver GC car. It drove okay, but it is the press car that spent some time in the Isle of Man and has had a gear box which rings some alarm bells. It's been driven hard; I would say that most of its miles have been hard track miles. But it is what it is and it's a cheap GT2 by any estimation. Check it out though - I thought I detected some rattles from the top mounts. I wouldn't be overly bothered by any over revs in the 1,2 and 3 areas (anything above would need further investigation); it's the Mezger GT1 engine that's designed as a race engine and it's more than capable of taking some substantial abuse. I'd recommend Peter Morgan's for the inspection, his guy Gary Harris did a superb job on mine.
