Hello OP. I just clicked full screen on your photo as it looks stunning. I can view other photos of yours as well, is this intentional or is it the way with flicker that the poster has no control over what we can see ?

Are you referring to my photo of Loch Lomond or an image the OP has?

If it's mine thanks for the comment. I'm simply a hack and albeit have the gear, it's much like golf - you can have the kit and still play like a tt! That photo was taken with an ND filter on which allows longer exposures so for example water looks calmer etc.

With regard to flickr, There are a few permissions availble and I have permissions set to open viewing on my photostream for those photos I'm happy for the general public to see and I have loads more but they are locked to either friends/family/or only me.

I can also see that the photo of Loch Lomond has been viewed 32 times today smile

With Flickr it's all about lock-down. There are some of my family at various parties/school events I've made public so people who aren't 'friends' on Flickr but are friends and don't have Flickr accounts can view - you can lock any photo right down to view by account holder only and send an invite to any photo but not everyone is computer savvy and it simply doesn't work so I direct them to my account and they can click around as they like.

I'm not worried about the odd photo of my little ones - perhaps I should be?

No. I use Picassa myself and it only shows the photos I put up. I see now that you did the same.

The Loch Lomand photo is very good, we spent a weekend there and around other parts last year. Must go again, Gods own Porsche Country . Liked it so much we came back four months later !

I use photo bucket for the some of my website. Its ok and you can have albums so you can control who See's what. The trouble is that Photo bucket uses flash ads and Ive found a few to be practically pornographic. So Ive had to put a disclaimer on the gallery pages of both my sites.
Its free web photo publishing site and works so I suppose that's a bonus.

Frank, if ever a road screamed out "Epic, fast, tarmac special stage" this is it :

http://www.stevecarter.com/911turbo-Scotland.wmv

If you click on it it'll download to your PC and then you can click on the downloaded file to view it.

You've most likely driven it ? I want to smile

I'm not sure if I have, is it basically the only road going into Applecross when heading North coming off the A893
Ive done the loop arround the coast to applecross but cant remember the pass?
