I so nearly went for a blat, but was put off by the storms and torrential rain in London. Sister in law was keen to see what the 997 was like, having never had a drive in it.

Live in Clapham but grew up in Mayfield so that would have been the exact direction I'd have taken.

Decided to let my brother in law have a go in the new 991 C2S. Before I could say "kapow" he was doing 75mph in a residential street. I told him to go waaaaaaay easy after that. Jesus.
