Congratulations Lucky no7 very nice indeed especially the CS variant and red looks great. How are you planning on using it, daily user, track or garage queen? please let us know.
I don't use my CS as a daily as have to use a NCP every day and some people get impatient when you have to crawl over speed bumps, but that makes it special to use at the weekends biggrin

Well done dude - that is a great car. I had a nose around it myself every time I was down there. Excellent colour. Excellent spec. Excellent price. Maybe see you on one of RPM's track days in it??

Cheers

Nice looking car, IMHO red and yellow really suit the 6GT3.

Drive carefully at this time of year...

Congrats on your purchase guards red looks the biz...

Just out of interest do you mind sharing the reasons you went for a 6 and not the 7 other than those relating to the 07 car mentioned on the other thread.... Had you test driven both??

Thanks to everyone for their kind words. The car is very nice indeed. I really wanted to look at a few but... I have owned one before and did a lot of research then and also looked at a few. I also knew all the issues they can have as my last one was inspected by the top man Tony Wright of Wrightune in Wallingford on Thames in South Oxfordshire. Tony's inspection threw up lots of things on my last one and allowed me to get £3000 off the price, yes the list was that big!! once Tony had sorted it the car was a different beast, not surprising considering the diff was W@!nked, tyres were rubbish, all drop arms were worn out, suspension mounts were shot too, suffice to say she didn't drive that well!!

This guard reds car on inspection proved to be impeccable, the nice thing is that Greig knew his onions! A proper inspection report was available, mot failure sheet presented. The car has always been serviced at Nottingham Porsche and only 3 owners. A nice proper clubsport.

The reason I went for the 996 in the end again was financial, i run my own business and just do not want to take on too much debt when I can get a cracking car like this for £20 000 less than a 997 gt3... I may do a track day, not done them before but have ridden motocross since the age of 5 so doubt its that hard ha ha ha!! I have a T5 sportline swb remapped to 204 as my daily shed so the car will be a garage queen! and blasts to our house in France.

cheers, just gotta wait a coupe of weeks not till she is ready..
