996 spoiler woes...

When driving, the spoiler raises at the correct speed etc but when slowing down it doesn't lower it's self. The spoiler light comes on and you have to turn the ignition off then on and use the switch to put it down.

Does any one know what this could be?

It sounds like a switch or actuator fault. Find a good indie & get them to plug their diagnostic computer in to find out exactly what it is.

Thanks for the advice. Is it likely to be expensive?
