Afternoon all,

I've been looking around for a used 996 for my wife - she wants one badly for herself thumbup
It must be tiptronic (she prefers auto option) No Cabrios. Coupe or Targa only.
I noticed this targa 02 facelifted version in the claasified:

I wasn't aware that targas were available in 4 wheel drive as per advert? What are your thoughts on price versus mileage?
Is 83,000 miles pushing it a bit perhaps? Obviously I haven't seen the service history but if it all checks out does this look like a viable purchase to you chaps?
I don't have any Porsche experience but run 2 x V8s myself so vaguely aware of servicing costs, parts etc.

Many thanks driving

The 996 Targa is 2wd only so the previous poster is correct, the advert is wrong.

The car also has the Aeorkit Cup side skirts and alu shifter and handbrake which aren't cheap options and IMO worth mentioning in the ad.

I appreciate the options. But looking at this car, which is a 2004 with only 59,000 miles on it, the 02 car is starting to look expensive with 83,000 miles on it surely?

You need to see the cars to discuss value.
