You've won £1M on the Premium Bonds ...... New Porsche??
Discussion
I'd be buying a lot of older stuff, 3.2 or 964 speedster, 993 RS & an outlaw style 356. I think the 356 would make a nice project, ruby black metallic with a red interior
If I was going to have something modern, I think I'd wait until they released the 991 targa or try & find a nice last of the line 997 targa 4S with pdk.
Obviously I haven't thought about this a lot

Move house, keep the gt3, buy a 964T 3.6 or 930, a pre '73 st-a-like or standard S, a 968 Clubsport for trackdays and a £25k Cayenne for the wife.
So that's probably £200k on cars. Any left for more cars, I'd buy a Panamera Turbo for work but I'm really not bothered about my daily hack.
To be honest though I doubt I'd keep it Porsche only. I'd probably by an F40 for 6 months before anything, just to own one in my lifetime.

Given that a 991S is >£100K when specced up I would think the next GT3 will be c£170K and the Macan will probably be £60K with a decent spec. Small point I know but when you only have £1M to play with that's a big percentage difference.
Pedant!
OK - the GT3 is probably going to be £130K with the right options (IMHO) and a Macan might be £60K - but the additional £40K over what I roughly quoted is only 4% of the total funds available ....Still - some interesting choices and thoughts coming in from everyone else though!
Buy some shiney wheel bolts for my current 911.....
and save the rest to rebuild it after the d chunk bore score IMS disasters have inevitably tried to take if from me!!
Luckily I want for nothing
- but my little boy would want to inherit a Carrera GT (350k) and 959 (260k). Better get the wife a Panamera Turbo (100k) and throw 40k at a Boxster Spyder for sunny days.
See not greedy - still got loads left for maintenance insurance storage and fuel.

Those prices seem very high, I kind of doubt a GT3 would only be 30k less than a 458/12Ctuffer said:
Specced up I reckon it will be close to that, a 458 or 12C are £200K base plus options, a more typical price is £225k - £240K.
Tuffer - You know that the MP4 12C Coupe lists at £176,000 and the 458 Italia at £178,491? Of course most load them with options - so that they are probably over the £200K mark, but not quite as high as you're suggesting ....Brilliant fun!! I'm going for it and would do an RS collection.
First off £100k spent on holidays and the missus to keep her sweet for what is about to follow...
£200k 2.7 RS
£70k 964 RS
£200k 964 3.8 RSR
£100k 993 RS
£60k 996 GT3 RS
£80k 997.1 GT3 RS (in Porsche Green)
And the rest? £190k on a rather large, heated, dehumidified garage with enough additional space for a pool table, flat screen, sofa and fridge!
Cheers
