Hi all,

Aberdeen based recording artist here seeking some assistance in the Manchester area! My label is shooting a video which requires some shots of a red 911. The video is for my song 'Guards Red Carrera' which will be released in March via Brighton electronic label Donky Pitch - http://donkypitch.com/

The video is being directed by Manchester based Antony Barkworth-Knight and we're aiming to use some exterior shots and possibly moving ones too. The video's shoot is on the evening of Thursday 31st January.

Antony's showreel can be seen here:

You can see full videos on his vimeo page:

I'm not particularly picky but since the video has a somewhat retro feel, a 993, 964 or SC would be most suitable in my eyes. A lot of the crew and actors are working for free as the video has virtually no budget. We can offer petrol money and extra token payment of a bit of cash, nice bottle of whisky etc of course.

If this is of any interest to anyone, please PM me for more information.

Thanks,

Tom

I wonder what a non-cameo role would be for a car. Could it be dressed up to look like a Nissan? Or a piano?

I used that word meaning that the car wouldn't a) be required for hours of shooting and b) be molested/driven by the acting crew. It simply needs to appear in a few shots.

Thanks

Bill Stein on here has the perfect car and is local. Otherwise try Unit 11 (01925 852000) and ask which of their other customers have something suitable - there's one guy I'm thinking of on the wirral called Tim (something-or-other...) who also has a 3.2 Carrera Sport coupe. Be sure to post a link to the video on here once it's done. smile

What year of car are you after? Pre-89 impact bumper, 964, 993, 996??? Have a lot of customers with suitable cars and I'm sure we could hook something up. Give me a call if you wish on 01925 242342.
