I would want to see a copy of the service history and MOT certificates as a minimum. What sensible questions should I ask of the seller??

The salvage company that I spoke to said that they get the vehicles straight from the insurance companies and they rarely see the service records. I wonder if a Hartech rebuild would be more cost effective than £4k+ on a replacement engine plus fitting? Has anyone done this on here?

Not a nice thing to do but would it clean-up enough with a hone putt some new rings in and off load it. Cost a lot less than 4grand.
Makes mental note not to buy a car from p1keyboy.Maybe there's a good clue to his morals in his username!
