Could do better, anything over 26mpg means the right foot isn't being used properly.

Did 125 miles in mine mostly on the mway at 75-80mph and the computer showed 30.7mpg at the end of it... they can be incredibly frugal machines off boost !

So now to add insult to injury....not only are our beloved sports cars branded as being too quiet & comfy....they can now also be labelled as being very economical biggrin

I had hoped I could muster something better than the 19mpg epa highway driving rating for the 993 Turbo but with the lightest of foot I can barely manage 20mpgs (us gallons). Although I do not believe I've done worse than 17. Official city/highway is 13/19 worse than earlier turbos. Normally, with 70-80 mph driving as 80% of the time I get about 18.

Motorway cruising at 80ish my lightly modified 993TT does 23-27mpg. I once tried 56mph and managed 36mpg although that was about 10 years ago and I've never bothered since. Overall it's around 18mpg.
A few K a year on mods makes the whole thing irrelevant anyway!
