Anyone can fit these, wouldn't necessarily want to go OPC to get fleeced, unless under warranty, where you may want to consider. Even if I was under warranty; I still would go elsewhere to do this, will cost less than 200. And I am sure OPC wouldn't even notice!

Bought a set off Ebay for my wifes Saet Leon. Sensors match the paint perfectly and the system works perfectly. Very easy to fit especially when access to the reversing light is easy alla the Porsche. These take power from the reversing light and connect to a convenient earth in the rear light area, the fitting tools are also supplied.

With the 996 it is not possible for the OPC to retrofit lady park. The 997 might well be the same. Best to talk to the OPC.

Best to go direct to the local OPC bodyshop, it can be done, I would strongly recommend that you only look at the factory type as all the others look shi-ite.

Go to Auto Audio in Park Royal. They do these all the time for GB group OPCs.

I don't know if 997's are the same as Caymans in this respect, but I understand that cars not ordered with parking sensors are built without the loom for that part of the car. Hence retro-fitting is a new loom and hence not financially viable if you want it fully integrated into the rest of the car.

As ever, any 3rd party products will invalidate a Porsche warranty.
