Just got my renewal quote through from ClassicLine Insurance underwriting for Equity Red Star.

45 yo, male no points or convictions, South Coast, 5k miles limited miles, 28k agreed value. 993 Tip : £345 pa

Anyone out there with similar circumstances who has had a better quote?

Thanks

That's peanuts, get it paid. My renewal on my 991 was £1430 but in Manchester. I HAVE got it down to £589 with Axa. You could give them a try.

Yeh but your car is worth about 3 times mine and is about 12 years newer so I expect it to be more! I was interested if there were any other 993 owners out there

Thanks

I have just renewed with Adrian Flux as they were the cheapest for me and provided better cover than the nearest quotes.

Depends what you mean by better! I think I pay about £560 for my 110k mile £18k 993 with Sheila's Wheels (stuck with them until Oct), but I'm 31 and live in SW London which I think is reasonable value...until I compare it to insuring my 550 Maranello which costs me about a tenner less than that....the world is strange place hehe

That's about as good as it gets. My circumstances are similar to yours and mine was a touch higher than that last year with classic line.

28k agreed value on a 993 tip? Fair play.
117000 C2 agreed value of 18.5k (just about a minter) doesn't need to be garaged and 6k miles a year. £460.00 with classic line. My licence history of late ain't that great though. Worcs.
