Hi everyone,

I recently purchased an iPod photo to keep in my gen 2 turbo, permanently hooked up to my pcm.

It's odd, because I assumed that having it connected would mean that every time I started the car, it would connect to the pcm, but it seems I have to take out the lead, and re-connect it for it to be recognised by the pcm?

This defeats the object of buying a sole purpose iPod, otherwise I would have just got the adapter for my iPhone 5" but I can't be bothered connecting and re-connecting an iPod each time I go for a drive - what's going wrong? Anyone else had similar problems, or is this normal?

Thanks

Piks

Thanks, it's helpful to know that there is indeed some sort of problem then
