I guess that would depend on a number of variables can you give a few more details on the car e.g color combination, mileage and history.
Sucked in!!!No need to ask for ANY information as they will clearly Quadruple fortnightly til the year Eleventeenhundredandforthytwelve!
If you have the right colour exterior/interior, like yourself full history, not to many owners and low mileage it will appreciate alot faster than others that dont have what I have mentioned.
Bottom line is they will all appreciate just depends how rare your car is compaired to others!

As you know doubt aware the higher mileage cars 70k+ are in the £45 to £50k price range, the lower mileage 50/60k cars in the £50 to £55k price range and the sub 50k cars over £55k. I've not seen many of them sell in the last year so we may have reached a plateau on prices for now. Probably due to plenty of 997TT's being available for under £45k and 996TT's under £25k.
Personally if you cab afford it, I would keep it as its the last of the hand built air cooled, with a personality and probably the best looking.

Please reveal the specs of your car. I'm not sure what prices where like 10 years ago and supply and demand in the UK is quite unique (I find) but sport seats, colored gauges, no sun roof and a tasteful or truly unique color combo all add to the value. Lots of plain vanilla 993 Turbos out there. Has it been modified? If so how heavily? I'd toss one of the GT2's but that's just me.

The car is midnight blue with cream leather, sport seats,48k, 3 owners full porsche service history, totally original and is in mint condition. I guess it is worth about the same as I paid for it 10 years ago. I do not want to sell it and regret it if prices on these rise!
Cheers
I'd price at the £50k mark for a private sale if you want to sell it that is!Cheers

Well yes and no. Of course Mr Raby knows stuff but he's said the same as on here. They are expensive at the mo, but they will go up. Collectors cars will be collectors cars and every day ones will be every day ones.Like pretty much anything in the 911 world. Old, perfect condition, low miles, service history, original...gonna carry a very high premium.

I think if you assume it will appreciate by about the same ammount it costs you to run it each year I don't think you'll be far wrong - assuming no major bills, just routine service, tyres, insurence, tax and a bit of wear and tear, so something like £2k a year over the next 5 years or so
So in terms of investment it doesn't really matter when you sell, but looked at another way you can probably run it for free, or very little money
No science to this, but that feels about right to me

Its already out of the reach of average Joe punters. It only needs to become fashionable to have one for the price to rocket. I would ask do they have a characteristic that people will want, e.g. racing history, or are they just another production model, albeit very special?? Cheers
The reality is that nobody knows what will happen. Its probably safe to say it aint gonna plummet.
With respect to selling, I'd look at it from the opportunity cost of money perspective.
