That does look lovely.
Dunno why, I've just suddenly fallen for the 996 shape, especially on GT3 models up.
What would these normally be valued at as a rough guide compared to this example on low miles.
A teen mileage car such as this, tend to retail at around £45k from a dealer, private sale itd be around £36-40kDunno why, I've just suddenly fallen for the 996 shape, especially on GT3 models up.

However, there was a few 20-25k mileage cars also retailing for around £45k (dealer) prior to Christmas/Winter. MrDemon has recently sold his 20-23k mileage car (i dont know the actual miles) but not sure how much it went for. When he mentioned selling it previously a figure of £40k was mentioned but it needs new rear brakes soon by all accounts
A teen milege car, 2 years ago, would have cost you £45k from a dealer so prices havent changed that much. Whether they get the full amount is another question mind you

Mr Demons was overpriced.
This looks ok priced from a dealer IMO. Not many straight cars in the teens mileage anymore. If you want one long term then my advice is don't quibble over 2 or 3 grand and get in there quick because the days of a plentiful supply of good low miles GT3's are over. Won't be long before they go up and are 50K+ cars IMO.

will people pay £46k for these ?
For a completely standard launch coloured Clubsport with the right spec that needs for nothing at the right time of year... Possibly. Low mileage unmolested ones are starting to get scarce now, and do remember that Clubsports are actually rarer than the RS... Is this such a premium car? Maybe - I don't really know.Incidentally - yours was priced bang on the money IMHO, but would have been worth more if you had waited a few months.
I drove this car in August last year when hunting for my GT3. Went for MK 1 in the end but this MK 2 was literally fresh from the factory. As close to mint as I have seen one. Not many miles added since then so can only imagine its in the same shape. Apparently the guy felt guilty using it as it was so nice!! He's Swapping for a project type car I have heard.

I think on paper it's a very attractive proposition and if I was in the market I would make the man maths work. It's a unique car - CS, spec, colour, mileage. You could wait another two summers before seeing the next one by which time you've lost two years. Also as Feb is upon us, spring is coming so perfect time to pick up a new steed.
(no connection to seller and don't know any more about the car than what's on the advert)
