997 Rear spoiler settings

Hi All!
Anyone on here familiar with the front module settings for the electric spoiler?
Although working the LED doesn't illuminate on the manual button and i have no status on the instrument cluster - my old boxster had both of these functions maybe they need turning on with piwis?

I never see anything in my 997 if it's happening on its own because of speed. If I raise it 'manually' an LED on the switch comes on as it is raising, then goes out. Nothing is seen when you close it or if it closes on its own once you have been over 70 and slowed down again.Anyone on here familiar with the front module settings for the electric spoiler?

I've often thought some sort of indicator would be useful but never thought there was an option.
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking about this...
Before I bought my 997 T4S I shared a long drive in my friend's 996 Turbo S. I was always amused to see the spoiler come up in the rear view mirror at speed.
All the while I was testing 997s I didn't give it a second thought. Now I am living with my own 997.2 T4S I often wonder whether the spoiler has gone up at speed on the motorway. I suppose it's a bit like wondering whether the light has gone off in the fridge when the door is closed!
I too think it would have been useful if the indicator light on the switch panel came on when the spoiler is raised whether manually by pressing the switch or automatically. I've thought about sticking on a drinks stirrer with a big lump of Blu-Tac to see if I can see the tip in my rear view mirror when it gets deployed!
I presume you guys are in carreras or cabs? And it isn't something peculiar to the targa with its opening tailgate?
