Morning chaps,

Normally frequent the Italian section mostly but on my way this morning to pick up my first Stuttgart purchase, a 996 C4 for the missus to replace her Smart.
Slush box for her - sorry purists - my own car is manual though thumbup

Just wanted to say hello to you all - I'm sure I'll be a regular visitor here as well, I only wish I hadnt seen that thread about the Cobra RS interior as it would look lovely in the new addition to 'our family' hehe

Thank you for looking and here she is:

Are you off to the butchers or are you collecting a Porsche by chance?

Mornin' Bebs,

Have a great day, I'm sure they'll treat you well down there.
As for the interior, yours looks like a nice unspoilt example so it's fine how it is.
I hope your wife appreciates it. I've got mine asking if she should get one now, since Craig brought his round.
I'll get her to buy a slush-box too I think. She doesn't get on well with the "Wiggly stick".

Bargain cars at the minute these 996s. Enjoy! smile

Thank you Marky - its been looked after but tbh the interior could do with a 'fresh up'
Steering wheel starting to turn slightly glossy etc.
Now quote sure how far to go with it - for now she'll drive it as is.

BTW, does anyone know where to get a replacement centre console upper tray? I need to rip out the old cassette tray and replace but can only find on US web sites..

Thanks

Hi boxsey,

Well, yes she now likes it after I have explained about the GT3 kit etc etc.. a little gentle persuasion did the trick hehe
