No doubt this has been covered many time over but with the PH search engine constantly down and a PH search on google not yielding much, here goes.

What are the best exhaust options regarding more power/torque, weight reduction and sound ?
Who would you trust to re-map the car ?

Is it even worth doing either of the above in terms of performance gains ?

Speak to Ken @ Nine Excellence. Ken has been looking into this and may be able to advise.

..I really wouldn't waste your time and money on a GT3, for the sake of 5-10bhp and making it so noisy your ears bleed is pointless IMO.. if you want more power, change the car to 7-GT3 or a 3.8 ..!

Didnt one of the journos in 911 & Porsche World mag have good results with an exhaust and map on his 996 GT3, if i remember things right he got around 400bhp? I have got the issue somewhere, so may check later if i get time.

Sounds like you're looking for a Manthey K400 or K410 conversion which include exhaust and remap. biggrin

The M410 kit is an M+M exhaust with added Manthey tax.

The system below cost less than half of the M410 price & is also an M+M system. It's got a very 997 GT3 sound to it.

It's just gone on my 3.9L track car & will be mapped by Fearnsport next week wink

Hi,

I run a cargraphic full system with 997 GT3 throttle body and IPD plenum.. Magical noise and some more noticeable power/torque gains on the road.

Not had mine mapped yet but will do a power run and see what figures I get... Would imagine around the 400BHP mark.
