Always feel like I'm sitting higher than ideal and have noticed that the lowest setting on a standard Boxster is lower than the Spyder seat.

So was wondering if there's any way of getting the spanners out to drop it a bit?

I don't know the answer to your question. Do you have the buckets?

I find them really low (which is what I prefer). I always feel like I'm perched high up when I get back in another car.

I'm guessing you have the leather seats? Change them out for Bucket seats smile

Agreed, the sports seats sit you lower in the car than the buckets. Notice this when I was test driving them before making a decision. Was worried that I'd find the buckets too low but turned out to the quite the opposite. Think the seating position of the buckets is perfect.

I'm about 2ft 6 and always find I'm pushing myself back up the buckets to get a bit more height need a booster cushion I think ha.

The seat bottom is quite angled on the fixed buckets which can give the impression they are high.

I personally would prefer slightly less less rake in the seat cushion angle but it is what it is so I've adjusted how I sit in them. I move my backside a little forward when sat in them which feels more comfortable for me.

That is true, the cushions are just velcro'd in, so you could always replace them with something thinner, albeit it would exactly be comfy!

Thanks for the responses. I do indeed have the buckets.

Sounds like a no to the adjustment, so I may just adopt a rude bwoyyyy seating position and see how I get on

There are two ways:

1- take out the seat squab. Then you're sitting in the carbon seat a la go cart seat. An upholsterer would make up a thinner squab should you want one
2- as mentioned above remove the seat runner. Gives you about 1.75inches extra height. Brey Krause do a good option.

Feel free to PM me for more info. The buckets are actually made to allow acces to mount them on the floor. Gotta love the Porsche Motorsport connections.

Hope that's of use to someone.
