Hi there

Want to have a look in my bores for any potential scoring, which bore no. is moat likely to have scoring, is it no. 6? If so where is no. 6 located

Had them checked when I purchased car two years ago and they were spotless, want to see how things look 20k miles later. smile

For the 911 4,5 & 6 will be on the right when viewing from the back (in that order).

Is it using any oil? I was using about 1 liter per 300-500 miles before the rebuild. None now!

It appears to be usually cylinder number 6 due to it being the last to get cooled and consequently can overheat. Number 6 is the rear cylinder on the right when veiwed from the rear of the car.

Nope uses very little oil I just want to keep a watchful eye. smile

Cool so the one on drivers side closest to the driver then?
