9X6 number plate lights

The transparent plastic 'lenses' on my 2002 bumper lights are quite yellowed (almost burnt out!) which is presumably a consequence of me driving around with my lights on for the past 150k kms...

I may replace them with the OEM units but have spotted the LED options.... Anyone got any experience of these?
