I posted looking for a set of 2.4S Pistons a few weeks back on another forum. Got a reply from jdox ( he s in the UK ) saying he had a set for sale and he emailed me a photo . ( His email is timothylivisting85@gmail.com) . The photo is the exact same photo on a Swiss Dealers site, except the pistons are less than half the price with Jdox. In my emails to jdox he wants to be paid by western union as he s having problems with his paypal account which has been deactivated. As a test I told him I would collect the items from him in person and I wanted to pay cash. His replies said he's not often home and could not be sure he would be home when I call. I see he has been a member here since Nov 2011 and has zero posts. Has anyone else had dealings or PM s from him ?

Mods feel free to move/de;ete this if I've inadvertantly broken a rule.

Yep - email suggests born in 1985, but has a set of pistons for a 2.4? Sounds a bit odd - not really a younger bloke's game. And then WU? Paypal broken? Not often home?!? Not with yours mate, as they say.

If it sounds too good to be true as they say! Avoid. IMHO of course!

It's a scam, but it's good of you to highlight it - there are just so many scams and scammers these days, we all need a constant reminder. Some are less obvious than others.

Ask where he is when not at home - you might be able to meet at a motorway service station somewhere with a bundle of cash (saves having the hastle of using Western Union). I'd bring a big mate with you though......laugh
