For that price I would much rather go for a newer 997 GT3

Isn't this the one that was in the PH classifieds for ages and just up until quite recently?

It's an import if it is.

I can't remember 100% but if its the one I'm thinking of (going by the spec and pictures it is) then it's definitely not a C16 (UK) car...

Why?

Not everyone wants a clubbie, 'your paying' for the mileage and if the market has suddenly decided that teen mileage cars are now closer to £50k, then guess what...

You could haggle a couple hundred quid off for proper GT3 centre caps so its already looking like a bargain biggrin

what's a Carrera GT3 ?? also spacing on rear logo not correct, as mentioned odd seat's for comfort plus odd looking half cage which is not comfort spec. bit mismatch going on.

could be wrong, thought gt3 mk2 were 04-05 then 06 was 997

I saw an 06 reg GT3 996 on the M25 March 1st. Might have been this one.

I guess you can't blame him for trying. There's GT3 hype around at the moment.

It was priced at £45,995 last time I saw it in the PH Adds!

It's definitely been on the PH ads before and was advertised for a while

Comfort models had leather buckets as options - CS models have buckets clad in nomex fire proof stuff

It's very bright - probably looks great on a sunny day

PS Porsche released a few GT3 after the 997 came in - these were manufactured in 2004 but registered much later

In response to the 'this is a strange spec' opinion:

There never was a specific 'comfort' spec. You had a 'normal' GT3 which included a Clubsport option. But I suppose we all decided to use comfort to mean not-Clubsport-option-selected

You could spec a normal GT3 with buckets (which came in leather) and a T-Equipment roll cage which was fairly easily removeable (i.e DIY if you felt like it) and mounted to the rear seatbelt mount points. This was not as strong as the Clubsport roll cage but good enough to give you some roll over protection and a good harness bar. The standard chassis is plenty stiff enough to not miss a more structural roll cage

The advantage of specing a normal GT3 in this way instead of the Clubsport was:
Leather seats instead of cloth
Rear cage that could be removed if you needed rear space
Additional side airbags (removed for Clubsport)
Additional sound proofing (removed for Clubsport)

Now although Clubsports have been proven to be more in demand with the fullness of time, I can see how when specing a new car, buyers could have decided to go the above route.

By the way this totalled to a more expensive purchase price than ticking the Clubsport option so the buyer would have felt they were buying an even higher spec car.

(not connected to the SY car but a previous owner of a similarly speced GT3)

This is the Kent car presumably (and therefore non UK) ?

Whats going on with the bonnet panel gap ?

That said, hope the price is achieved. All good for GT3 owners. If bramley can get 100k for a ropey old 964 turbo then they should nail this one easily.
