I noticed today that the engine fan in the car was louder than usual!
it's the first the cars been out in ages and it was 16 degrees today. But I assumed the fan wouldn't kick in just because the car was sitting in a car park for two hours, can the engine be that hot while stationary or do you think a thermostat is on the blink?

my 981S sometime starts the fans while it is turned off, and it happens after turning off the car but not immediately.

I believe this is normal.

Was fiddling about with mine 2 days ago and it did exactly that. Engine was running for about 90 minutes I think, temperature was around 18 degrees and after a while the fans kicked in. Just assumed it was normal.
