I have just acquired a 2004 996 turbo, with very low mileage and strangely two service books. One is the original with the sticker, and there is also a replacement. Neither of them have any note of any recalls - the car has only every had minor services, so it is off next week for a major service. My question is : will they do any recalls free of charge, or will I have to pay? Or will they know if they have already been done / should they be in the service book

Email - recalls@porschebyfleet.co.uk

Tell them your reg and chassis number and they will confirm whether any recalls are due.

I called the dealer today - they says there are no recalls on my car - hence no service stamps. However my first major service on Thursday (9 years old / 10K miles) - lets hope they can remove the spark plugs without breaking any off! they say that can be a problem if the plugs are not changed every 4 years.
