Insurance Costs

New to the forum and found it most informative!

I'm considering the purchase of a 997s next year and have been trying to get an insurance quote. So far nobody appears to have it on their database.

I was wondering if anyone had been able to find a company that can quote. If so what sort of costs are being suggested?

Cant see any reason why insurance should be that much different than for a new 996 now - after all, the prices are fairly similar, give or take a few %

If you are genuinely considering purchasing a new 997S and have the funds to do so then one would have to ask - do you really care?

well i was paying £3000 for my 996 tt a few months ago then i went to get a price for a 997 s and they said they wouldnt insure me as i have to be 25 for this car! doesnt make sense to me as you had to be 21 for the 996 tt! so i left them! now im with tesco and they were able to give me a price!

Dont' know if they have the 997 on their database yet, but I would certainly recommend Liverpool Victoria in terms of cost - they were miles cheaper than anyone else!
