0.4 boost to 0.7 how much difference?
Discussion
IIRC back in the early mid 90s Saab offered the 9000 with a low pressure turbo which they called ecopower and a high pressure turbo which they called turbo and then the range topping aero.
My dad had a 9000 ecopower and later an aero (high pressure).
The difference was very very noticeable although boost pressures were 0.4 bar for the ecopower and i think around 1.1 bar for the aero.
To give you an indication i believe quoted 0-60 times were around 8.5s and 6.5s respectively for the 2.3 litre manual cars and power was 170bhp vs 225bhp but with much bigger torque increases

So, how much different does 0.7 bar of boost feel compared to 0.4?
Really different, or marginally different?
With my 03 Turbo when its making 0.4 bar boost the car picks up speed in and impressive fashion.Really different, or marginally different?
At 0.7 bar in the lower gears one had better have the steering wheel pointed where one wants to go before one sees 0.7 bar. The car accelerates scary fast. In the higher gears one have better have lots and lots of empty road in front of him.
