I seem to remember seeing advertsised there several months ago. It reads well, but doresn't seem to have sold.

No, but it has been on the market for a long time - and, for a highly sought after car, is around 20K under what I would expect it to be priced at (not something SCOM is famed for!).
Worth a look if you can live with LHD. I couldn't so bought this RHD 2.2s (any excuse to post a pic...):

Try posting the same question on DDK...I'm sure there will be several of the knowledgeable members over there that have viewed the car.http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/vehicle/porsche...

That was my thought. Mever seen anything you might describe as 'under-priced' there. Yours looks lovely.Worth a look if you can live with LHD. I couldn't so bought this RHD 2.2s (any excuse to post a pic...):

Thank you. Mind you it should look lovely after the years and £££s of work that have gone into it. It had over 400 hours of time on the body alone. Now as close to a showroom fresh one as you can get - and fantastic to drive.
Happy, but skint!
Probably a decent investment over the long haul though. Surprised how much these have gone up already. Happy, but skint!

Yes it is mine. And it is lovely.
I'm having a new garage built and John very kindly agreed to look after it for me.
But it is certainly interesting to see how values have moved in the last six months ....

Just wish dealers would update their sites. Noticed quite a bit of this recently. Not sure it's tardiness either. I think sometimes, they use sold cars to collect prospects for the next one!

I saw it about 2 years ago. Had a chat to Mark about it and think it's from Belgium originally (although I may stand corrected). It was a lovely example but as others have said, a little on the high side price wise. http://www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/vehicle/porsche...

I often read about the purity of certain cars in LHD be it a Porsche or a Ferrari, but for me living in the UK I would always find it a pain having the wheel on the wrong side and would often hanker for a RHD model. I have never driven a 911 of this vintage, but love the look of the long bonnet and if my pockets were deep enough would have one in an instant

I have a LHD 968 and you get used to the wheel being on the wrong side very quickly. Unless you spend all your time in last chance overtaking manoeuvres on B roads it isn't an issue when driving and I tend not to leave it in car parks with ticket barriers anyway.acf69 said:

I think that depends where you live. I tried a LHD 964RS, but living in rural Devon and mainly driving on single carriageway A and B roads, I traded "purity" for visibility.Gassing Station | Porsche General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
