Hi just wondered how long it takes to change a oil pressure sender unit, OPC want to charge £146 including part which I think cost about £44,so that is 1 hours labour, my car is having a service at the same time so car will be on the ramp already, can't see it taking longer than 15-20 minutes tops ?

With the correct tool 5 - 10 minutes. I have just done it on my 997 C2s. It can be done from above in the engine compartment with a 19mm crows foot attachment to a 3/8 drive extension of about 6 inches. If you are in the North West then I am more than happy to assist or lend the tool. The sender unit is about £50 with vat.

Thanks mate very kind gesture but I'm in Kent,

I'm sure OPC have a tool to make the job easy for them,it should only take about 15min, I will have a word with them and get the labour cost reduced .
