So it goes to show, sites like these are invaluable and its refreshing that the genuine punters on here keep an eye out and inform possible buyers of any hidden stories.

Just to rule out any speculation I have nothing to hide about this car. I am a genuine seller and happy to speak to any prospective buyers.
The car is not at £85k its at £38k the car was once driven daily by me and no doubt by previous owners.
I love her to bits but shes now needs an owner who will enjoy her as much as i have.

I don's see the problem here, and this is a typical over reaction and IMO poor use of forums like this.
The car is cheap, very cheap in fact. Yes it leads to questions, but i'm not being funny, who turns up to view a car like this at that price and expects no "issues" I mean come people, are you really expecting something else?

Pretty much this. If you see anything at half the (substantial) price of its comparators that would surely alert you to the fact that it was 'too good to be true'? That's not to say there isn't merit in flagging a dodgy car (quite the opposite). But if the car is going for a (relative) song you would obviously be wanting to make enquiries. Active concealment is another thing but if the price is that low then buyer beware.The car is cheap, very cheap in fact. i do not see the seller has done anything wrong at £38k its priced right who would expect a mint one to be that price.
this and other cars with less than perfect history have been advertised on here and elsewhere for years we all have seen this car before,its been discussed on here many times,and i am sure that anyone looking for one would have done there homework and know what the market value is so what would you expect to find for 38k
this seems like a deliberate attempt to drive the price down to 26k,this car will sell as a top car is 70-80k if it cost 20k to get this one sorted it is still cheap compared to others.
these forums are great and if somethings not right then people need to know but this is over the top we all want a bargain but there were only 80 odd rhd so the markets limited hence the stupid pricing of these 3.6t.

I feel sorry for you - the guy who started the various threads is obviously a clear muppet who is bitter - it's out of order doing things like this.
He thought he would be able to have you over by purchasing £50k lower than market value and then was surprised it wasn't mint.
The guy is a joke to human kind - how stupid does one have to be to think in this day and age of the internet this would be the case?
Further where was his morals when he thought he could secure the bargain of the century and yet he lectures about honesty.
Hope your cars sells - someone will get a realistic car at a realistic price - with the right investment they can make the car mint.
