Porsche Specialist Near Saffron Walden?

Hi All!

I've browsed these forums for a few years now but this is my first post so please be gentle.

I've recently moved from Coggeshall to Saffron Walden and have a 996 turbo. I previously used Autostrasse (who were consistently excellent) but was wondering if anyone could strongly recommend anyone nearer to my new home?

The options seem to be PSR Automotive in Bishops Stortford (24mins away, according to Google Routefinder), Barr Tech in Cambridge (35min) or Autostrasse (50min). Obviously I recognise that Autostrasse's distance from my new home hardly precludes using them but if there was someone really good nearer then that would be even better.

That's my main question and I also have a second one (or two), which is can anyone recommend a good bodywork specialist (very minor corrections only needed) and wheel refurbisher near to Saffron Walden?

A big for PSR, really good guys who know their stuff.

Wheels: www.exelwheels.co.uk They come to you with loan wheels and take them to Lepsons who are pretty much the best in the business.

Bodywork: http://www.chipsawaycambridge.co.uk/ Bodyshop and also a mobile service if only minor repairs required.

I used to use Autostrasse as well as main dealers but found a gem of a guy. Try calling Yon Asim on 07912 206797 who is ex-AFN Porsche West London and a really nice guy. He's mobile too so will come out to you and if necessary, take your car away and return it back to you. He's looked after both my 997 Turbo and 993 C2 for years and I wouldn't have anyone else touch my cars now. If you call him, tell him Si Stevens recommended you ring him - his prices are so much more reasonable too!
