Pictures of your new Cayman 981
Discussion
I have pre traded /handed in my 2.9 cayman in exchange for a new 981s that has a expected delivery end of June,
I shopped around and was offered a very good trade deal but I expected a good price as my trade in Cayman was a 2012 with 1500 dry miles totaly unmarked.
Someone will get a good used car.

Not one person who has seen my car in the flesh has said they preferred the previous shape.

Really? I had a 987 gen 2, and my 981 looks loads better....each to their own, I suppose...

Totally agree - the new car is a real jump up from the slightly effeminate looking earlier car IMHO. Inside big step up now too.Not one person who has seen my car in the flesh has said they preferred the previous shape.
I actually think the 981 Boxster is now a better looking car than a 991 cab, and 981 Cayman is better looking than a base 991.
Agreed - I've always found the rear, particular from an angle like that, of the 987c, to be a bit awkward - it's the long, relatively flat, tailgate I think.
Overall though the 981 didn't blow me away as much as I'd anticipated (from a purely aesthetic point of view - I've not driven the new Cayman).
