Guys

Im about to change from an M6 back to a 911 Turbo, although this time its a 997

The car I have my eye on seems to be a little scarce on the options list. I understand that BOSE was standard on the Turbo, is this true? Options my potentail car has are:

Sport Chrono Package Plus
Windscreen with grey top tint
Electric slide tilt sunroof
Heated Seats
Floor Mats
Park Assist

Am I missing any must have options here?

The Bose is not very exciting. PCCB are nice. If you going to do some track you might add

Adaptive seats
Shortshifter
Rear axle diff-lock

bose, nav and sunroof standard

chrono is the big must, due to overboost

other things worth having IMHO:
PCCB (but rare)
heated seats
adaptive seats
park assist
bluetooth
cruise
leather rear console (personal thing, standard plastic looks cheap)

is it a 997.1 or 997.2 ? Other extras on 7.2

Gather this was an options list. It's from the CAP autotrader website if you were looking for a turbo valuation. Not sure if these are all turbo extras though, but feels correct (i.e no Bose, PCM, sunroof etc which were std)

Thanks for the responses fellas. Its a March 2008 997 Turbo, is that 997.1 or 997.2? I thought Bluetooth was standard?? I thought the Sat Nav on these was DVD based but this is CD based

What would you value an 08 plate, Manual on 11k miles? Black with Black Leather with Porsche Warranty

I have the exact same car, Bluetooth is the Gen2 model not the Gen1 so no, it may not have it in. the Nav is DVD situated in the front boot.

Not sure is they can retrofit the Gen2 PCM into a Gen1

The PCM3 system (black screen) was fitted to cars from Oct 08 and is a massive upgrade from PCM2 (silver screen) in my opinion.

Worth looking for a '58' plate if you can ?

BT not even std on Gen 2, it is cost option

In Gen 1 I think you were forced to go for the "telephone module" - not sure if that is the same crap SIM card-based system from the 996

Pretty much and only certain carriers work, which i found out after trying to use a sim i had and though the telephone module was faulty!

Basically have a car specific sim which i leave in permanently and it works well, just one of those things but still pretty poor for such a marque!!!
