Posche Dealer doesn't seem to want to budge on price, so has offered Porsche Experience, Full tank of fuel (a bit cheeky - especially as I would be driving from London to pick it up) and Pure Guard inside and out for £199 - Anything else I should ask for?
Was told they are spending over £4000 prepping the car - New Brakes (Pads and Discs all around), New clutch, wiper blades, replacing a pump of some sort due to small corrosion. The tyres are at their lowest 4.6mm and best 6.3mm. It doesn't need a service until Dec 2014.
Taking all of that into account and the Porsche warranty, it looks ok to me.Was told they are spending over £4000 prepping the car - New Brakes (Pads and Discs all around), New clutch, wiper blades, replacing a pump of some sort due to small corrosion. Pay your money and takes your choice. OPC+warantee is a damn good safety net to have. I'd be look at a 6k+ bill right now without it.
Plenty of cheeaper ones in the classifieds though if you fancy your chances.
Having said that, you absolutely *have* to take a minimum of 1k off it, just out of principle.

Wave a credit card and say you'll stick a deposit down NOW for 1k lower or 3rd year warranty.

All the 'prepping' has to be done anyway though. I dont count that as part of the deal when buying OPC, its expected. If they wont budge on price then tell them its a done deal for third year warranty.
I disagree. New brakes all around a new clutch puts value on the car. I know they have to prep the car anyway, but if these were all half worn they wouldn't replace them. The car would then be worth less to me.

.If it helps OP, my car was up at 35 at OPC, got it for 33 (or 33.5 cant remember) and got an additional 9 months wtee that was left to run from the previous owner, so 2 years 9 months wtee. Similar prep - new brakes, bumpers painted etc - I guess it differs from car to car, but there does seem some wiggle room.
OPC don't tend to stock a lot of 911s at this price level so your choice is going to be limited if you want to go with them, and tbh I think you'd be mad not to.
It's easier to tempt them to take your money at the end of the month when they're trying to hit targets. Whether the car's still there is the risk you take of course.
The Supaguard (or whatever it was) costs them a LOT less than £200 (like under 50%) so I'd definitely try to get that included for free (if you want it).
Also, you do realise a tyre at 4.5mm is 70% worn out by their standards?
Tyres start with 8mm and their minimum for mandatory replacement is 3mm, so of the 5mm usable tread 3.5mm has already been used.
I'm not suggesting you try to have them replaced, just trying to help you negotiate.
