Superb skill levels being displayed there. He certainly worked for his salary during that event.

It's vids like these that make you realise how much you suck lol.
Folks here should keep up on the videos from Drive on YouTube.
I know everyone pants over chris harris but the leo parente stuff is first class. Great insight and videos on GT racing, great updates from the IMSA Porsche racing, more of those drivers eye videos etc etc.

Blimey, I got sweaty palms just holding the ipad there! Terrifying!

Someone give that man some decent headlights or is he just showboating?!

Just crappy incandescents on the GT3R - decent lighting would not only weigh a few grams more but would also blind the cars in front through their mirrors. Besides - in those conditions you would just get white out with something like xenons anyway. I thought it was more like fighting for survival than showboating - there was some heroic opposite lock going on just to keep it pointing in the right direction. Fcensoredk That was my instinctive response.....

Regarding the lights - there's a minimum weight and they likely have some ballast anyway so they are not worried about the weight of extra lights. The top teams do normally fit significant extra lights (often embedded in the front PU). I have never seen anyone respecting anyone else with regard to not wanting to dazzle people with your lights. It's not uncommon to have rear blinds for the night to reduce the blinding you get from people behind.

He's clearly talented, though apparently he had little experience at the Ring. That would explain him driving mostly on the dry line. Normally in the wet you would reduce all those oversteer moments by keeping off the apexes and using some of the 'accepted' wet lines.
