Looks like the service manual for 997.2 is now available off fleabay....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PORSCHE-911-997-2-WORKSH...

This covers:

Porsche 911 997 Generation 2 (LED rear light models) workshop and technical manuals on pdf CD. Covers all 997.2 vehicles - Carrera 2/4, S, Cabrio, GT3 and Turbo models from 2008-2012. Also includes the 'PET' Porsche parts catalogue. Over 1600 indexed pages. This is factory published material and gives in-depth diagrams for all areas listed below.

...at least 14 have been sold. The price was £30 in April, and now £25. All positive feedback.

Anyone here bought one? Is it worth buying?

I've got one.

Does cover a lot of detail, but has no actual 'how to' documentation if that's what you're after. Think of it as a tech-heavy info guide rather than a workshop manual, and you won't be disappointed.

This isn't a workshop manual, it is a technical brochure plus a few catalogues out of the EPC parts list. It is the dealer information that is used to educate the dealers on the changes from the 997.1 to 997.2.

Alas, the hunt for the workshop manual, continues.

Mine was definitely a workshop manual. Even had taking an engine out plus torque settings
