THis car is the colour and spec I would be interested to buy. I have just built it on the Porsche website and the new price is £59,586 including 20% VAT, how can a one year old car with 13,000 miles be worth only £5,000 less than a brand new one, am I missing something??? I would have expected that at least the VAT should be gone, bringing the car below £50,000.

VAT is irrelevant. A used example is worth whatever people are willing to pay.

Yes I realise but it doesn't make much sense to go for used.

I bet the conversation is a little different at trade in!

Ahh, the reappearance of low depreciation motoring for the Porsche owner.

I'm off to check if our diesel is actually air cooled!

It's all a big game mate. You want a cheap car, and they want the highest commission possible.

It's not rocket science!
