Collecting my first porsche today!

[Eidhur]

Finally bought my first porsche after many years of saving and searching. To say I'm excited is an understatement .

Will post pictures when I've picked it up and I'm back home........

Have fun!

ETA: no wonder you're awake so early

Congrats and enjoy, a nice feeling I'd imagine. Kudos on the saving too :-) not easy.

Enjoy your first drive home: it's the BEST. Still vividly remember mine, 9 months later

Perfect day for it too

The C4S from redline I assume?

It sounds like you have bought a nice car at a great price!

Have a great day!

Enjoy op! Nice day for it.

Peter will look after you. I've bought from him before and still bump into him a bit. Great bloke. Ask for a nosey at his personal collection while you're there.

Have a great weekend, I'm sure you will.

I remember my first Porsche day, wife bought me the U.S.A. BASEBALL jacket a year before.
I told her will only put it on once I get one.
I even had a photo taken of me with the old chap putting the keys in my hand for the first time with my 911.

Well, where is it?

Must be one helluva first drive!

[Eidhur]

Well it's been a great weekend, pretty much not been out of the car for the last 24 hours!

Just had a heart stopping moment when it only just fitted in the garage......Nearly a School boy error of epic proportions.

I'm totally in love with the noise, just can't get enough of it. My wife and neighbours are less than enthusiastic but never mind.

I'm also really not sure how you boys with more exotic and capable metal keep your licence - maybe you offer lots more self restraint than I have so far.

Thanks for your comments - pictures will be posted some time this week.
