Porsche warranty and independents
Discussion
Does having your service completed by a independent invalidate your porsche warranty. I have been quoted 610 plus an extra 350 for brake fluid and spark plugs for my 987 boxster s . Whilst a good local independent will do the same and use the same porsche parts for 450 all in. Can the opc invalidate any subsequent warranty claim just because it wasn't done at a dealership...?

No heresay Bert, I wouldn't post to the contrary if there was any doubt. I know the rules, I've heard it from the mouths of the people who make these decisions and seen it in writing when written confirmation has been requested.

Wasn't meaning to be insulting Tom, but there is a clear contradiction between the terms (as posted up there) and what some dodgy bloke told you (paraphrasing for effect there, you understand).Tom
Is there any written evidence that the contract terms have been varied for people? It's quite a big change, so you'd expect them to be communicated.
