... so do you lot actually go to read the Classified parts/wheels section on PH?

Shipping a set of hollowspokes to an Ebay buyer fills me with dread.

Where would you advertise?

Don't you need to be a member?

I think I've upset them in the past with my views on N-rating biggrin

TIPEC will also host the adverts.

You could put on Ebay with collection only caveat?

Ray - collection-only on Ebay is my contingency - I'd much rather sell to real Porsche people.

Thanks for the Tipec tip.

We've sold a couple of sets of Porsche wheels on eBay before now. We'd said "collection only, no PayPal" in the ad, along with "buyers with fewer than 10 feedback points must contact us before bidding". Oh, and "UK only" as well.

The first time, all went well. The guy turned up, paid the money, took the wheels away. Perfect.

The second time, the guy paid by PayPal. (You have to include PayPal as a payment option, IIRC.) Then he wanted to send a courier for them because he lived in Germany. As it happens, everything was fine - the courier turned up, there was never any request for a refund, etc. But we were a bit concerned about the potential for everything to go pear-shaped!

We've got another set going up soon. We'll see what happens!

I'm a non-member member, so you were correct I can post up adverts.

They are now up for all to see smile

Plus one -although I relented with one guy when he said they would get couriered......after two weeks of the wheels sitting by the gate I sent his money back and put them back on Fleabay....

Thanks - they are really in time-warp condition - I would keep them just to look at, but I'm feeling guilty with them sitting in my Wheel Museum as I'll never actually use them.

It also keeps MrsOC quiet if I sell something every now and then. hehe

..Nothing wrong with the spares section on P/H, I've bought/sold wheels, tyres, suspension, engine parts usually to/from enthusiasts who have been a pleasure to deal with..
