The 996 is in the shop (again), this time with a rattle... not a good sounding rattle and one that now just will not go away. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that its not rebuild time just yet, I'm moving house and the wife will kill me. Results due back tomorrow...

Cheers, very happy that the engine has been given the overall clean bill of health, for once i appear to have had some luck and its just noisy tappets and not anything to worry about until a later date when im doing planned work. Engine is running well and pulling strong, dynoed at 318bhp today, shame the last bloke to work on it butchered the top mounts at the front and claimed they were fine!
New MAF, new rear brakes, new top mounts, tightened exhaust clamps and its apparently like a different car, cant wait to pick her up tomorrow!
