996 GT values, buy now as only valued at £14280......

I know how we all like to talk up and down prices on the 996 GT2, but this made me laugh whilst looking at insurance renewals.

Had a quick look at the value recorded for a 2004 GT3, a whooping £14855!

Very worrying if they want to use that figure as market value in he event of a write off!

They can't, they'll use 'Market Value'. Doesn't matter if you tell your insurance company that you think your car is worth £5k or £300k, it makes no odds when it comes to paying out (unless it's an agreed value policy); you'll get what they see cars selling for.
